New York City Hearings – April 26, 1972. Low audio quality. Steve Rosenfeld reads the testimony of New York State Police Investigator John D. Steinmetz. General Counsel Arthur Liman examines. A recording of a telephone conversation between a union official and the command post in Albany, which took place on the afternoon of September 13, 1972, is played. The topic of conversation is fire power during the retaking. Chairman Robert McKay interrupts the hearing to announce that a bomb threat has been called into the studio. Colonel John C. Miller, New York State Police, 1st Deputy Superintendent is examined by Liman. A film of the police action during the retaking is shown.
