Tent platform, permit No. 34 on South side of Lower Saranac Lake

Campsite consisting of three tents erected platforms on the shores of Lower Saranac Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. A permit was required for this type of camping, which is no longer allowed on State lands. A man can be seen standing on the porch of his tent, which bears a sign "State Property Permit No. 31." On a tree in front of the tent is another sign that reads "Ideal Rest."
