Silver gelatin photograph of students working in a large garden on the grounds of the Thomas Indian School. Some are hoeing crops while others are kneeling and weeding. A row of beans extends across a fence in the foreground and a wide path can be seen down the center of the garden. In the background, there are rows of corn and a line of trees that separate the garden from pasture land. Ca. 1900, 6 x 10", mounted.
