World War II - Public Works Photograph

Public Works, Army and donated store trucks seen loading freight cars in Utica, N.Y., citywide scrap paper collection, yielding more than 10 carloads of precious salvage materials. Air raid wardens, auxiliary police and Boy Scouts handled pickup of 170 tons.
