This is a highly detailed map that shows much of Northern New York, from counties as far South as Schenectady and Madison, to the Northernmost counties of Franklin, St. Lawrence, and Clinton. This map shows cities, towns railroads, mountains, and bodies of water located in Northern New York. The map is marked, "Private copy from private papers of Verplanck Colvin." Original map is 34.2" x 34.8" inches and is held by the Dept. of Environmental Conservation.
