"Allá en el Rancho Grande" was widely considered the film that began the golden age of Mexican cinema between 1935 and 1959, when both financial and critical successes were at their peak. A romantic comedy set on a ranch, it was directed by Fernando de Fuentes, and starred Tito Guízar and Esther Fernández.
