Letter, "Sed de Amor," 1946

Letter from the Motion Picture Division to Hoffberg Productions, Inc., the American distributors, report from the Motion Picture Division examiner, cover page of the script, and sample of the script of the Cuban film "Sed de Amor" ("Thirsty for Love"), 1946. The letter explained that in order to be granted a license to screen the film in New York State, the studio would need to eliminate several scenes that were deemed "indecent"; "immoral"; and "tends to corrupt morals." The examiner recommended that several eliminations to the script be made before the film should be licensed to be screened in New York State. The script contains dialogue in both English and Spanish.
