Protest. Cornelis van der Huyghens, fiscal of New Netherland, against Nicholas Coorn building a fort on Beeren island, on the North river, for Mr. van Rens[s]elaer. [1644]

Counter protest. Nicolas Coorn, quartermaster of Renselaerssteyn, against Cornelis van der Huyghens, for forbidding him to build a fort on Beeren island, which is intended only to exclude the canker of freemen from the colonie of Renselaerswyck, and rejoinder of the fiscal. [1644]
