Testimony in action for damages against Nicolaes Coorn for firing on Loockerman's vessel when passing Beeren island

Declaration. Cors Pietersen, Joannes Verbrugge and others, that Nicholas Coorn had ordered Govert Loockermans of the sloop Good Hope, to strike his colors, when passing Beeren island, "for the staple right of Renselaerswyck," who refusing, a shot was fired by Coorn through the sloop's mainsail and the Prince's flag.
