Abraham Lincoln's birthplace in Hardin County (later La Rue County), Kentucky. He was born to Thomas and Nancy Lincoln on February 12, 1809. Though the original log cabin where Lincoln was born was later dismantled, two farm sites where he grew up in Hogdenville, Kentucky were designated the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park.
