Court proceedings. Cornelis Melyn vs. Adriaen Petersen, and the fiscal vs. the same, for abduction of Mr. Melyn's servant girl ; defendant ordered to bring the girl into court and deliver her to Cornelis Melyn, and receive her again from him on giving security for the payment of any damages he (Melyn) may have suffered. 
Resolution. To assist arriving settlers, as otherwise the country will come to nought, and the people remain in a miserable condition. 
Court proceedings. Maurits Jansen, from Broeckhuysen, vs. Everardus Bogardus, guardian of the children of Cornelis van Vorst, for money advanced to Jan van Vorst in Holland ; case continued. Edward Owen vs. Richard Brudenell ; case of outstanding accounts. Fiscal vs. Hendrick Jansen, tailor, for slandering the director general ; defendant ordered to be put in irons until the fiscal take further information.
