John Underhill vs. Isaac Allerton ; plaintiff alleges that before he came here, defendant had promised him that the commonalty would pay him higher wages than those paid by the company ; defendant denies having ever made such a promise, and demands proof ; Underhill promises in court that defendant shall never be troubled again by himself or heirs on this subject. [1646]
