Map of the Adirondack Forest Preserve in northeastern New York. The preserve was created in 1885 by the New York State Legislature. The map shows which lands were owned by the State at that time and the proposed boundary for Adirondack Park, which was established in 1892. Also included are bodies of water, towns, and numbered sections of land.
