Statue of Liberty

View of the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. The statue, modeled by Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi 1834-1904, was a gift to the United States from France in 1884. It was dedicated on October 28, 1886 and was designated a National Monument on October 15, 1924.
