Andre Monument

View of Andre Monument at Tarrytown. An inscription on the side of the monument states that it marks the spot where British Major John Andre was captured during the Revolutionary War. On top of the monument is a statue, presumably of Major Andre. On the front of the monument the dates "1780-1880" are inscribed. In the background is a residential neighborhood in Tarrytown.
