Exterior view of Old Fort Johnson, a two-story, stone house built by Sir William Johnson on the Mohawk River near Amsterdam, New York. The house was completed in 1749 and was home to Johnson during the French and Indian War. In the image, two cannons sit in the front yard of the house, which appears to be located in a residential neighborhood.
