University Settlement Camp, N.Y. (1 of 12)

The University Settlement house was founded in 1886 as the first settlement house in the U.S. In 1910 someone donated this camp in Beacon N.Y., which the Settlement house used to help kids get out of the city for recreation, until 2007.
