A Camp Blacksmith Shop; Making Bunkers. Near Woodhull Lake, Herkimer county, N.Y.

Two men working on bunkers in the snow at a lumber camp near Woodhull Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Bunkers probably refers to the camp bunks, which were often 3 levels high, and the lowest one supported a deacons bench that ran the length of the camp on both sides. The camp blacksmith shop can be seen behind the men.
