Beede Camp, Upper Ausable Lake, Essex County

View of three men in a log lean-to at Beede Camp on the west shore of Upper Ausable Lake in either Keene or North Hudson, Essex County in the Adirondack Mountains. The camp is the property of the Ausable Club, headquartered at Saint Huberts in Keene. The men in the lean-to are: Warwick S. Carpenter (left), Carl P. Winther (center) and Mr. Hickey (trail pounder). This image was created to record the forest recreation activities of the New York State Conservation Commission.
