Map of the survey and allotment of several tracts of land ceded to the people of the State of New York by the Stockbridge Indians on the 25th March 1820, and 23rd February and 28th August 1822, situated in the Counties of Oneida and Madison; which tracts are not arranged according to the times in which they were ceded, but according to their relative situation, taken at once into view. Done pursuant to instructions of Simeon DeWitt, Esq., Surveyor General of the State of New York and to whom this survey and map is respectfully inscribed by his much obliged friend. Signed by Peter Gifford, Deputy Surveyor and Simeon DeWitt, Surveyor General. Original map size 27” x 23”.
