View of five trucks specially designed for fighting forest fires by forest rangers in Saranac Lake, Franklin County in the Adirondack Mountains. Several state forest rangers are standing around the trucks. One truck is labeled "Conservation Department," so the photograph dates to 1926 at the earliest. This image was created to record the forest fire control activities of the New York State Conservation Department.
