West Almond, Observation Tower, Built by CCC Boys

View of a fire observation tower in West Almond, Allegany County. Several people are standing in and around the tower. The date is unrecorded, but probably the 1930s, as the tower was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. This image was created to record the forest fire control activities of the New York State Conservation Department.
