Catskill Mountain House; Hudson Valley in Distance

Front yard of the Catskill Mountain House (seen in background) overlooking the Hudson Valley. The hotel was opened in 1824 and was in operation until 1941. In 1962 the State of New York acquired the property and destroyed by the Department of Conservation as it was deemed unsafe.
