View of Governor Franklin Delano Roosevelt (in office 1929-1933) visiting areas that have been reforested at Pleasant Brook in Roseboom and at Cherry Valley in Cherry Valley, both in Otsego County. Roosevelt is sitting in an open car parked on an unpaved road, watching a man spray a tree with a hose. Several other people are standing around nearby. This photograph is virtually identical to image 1834. This image was created to record the reforestation activities of the New York State Conservation Department.
