World War I military service abstract for Archibald Bulloch Roosevelt, Army Officer

World War I service card of Archibald Roosevelt, son of Theodore Roosevelt. Archibald Roosevelt volunteered for the war on June 12, 1917. He was awarded a bronze star and the prestigious French Croix de Guerre awards for his valor while being wounded in battle in France. He had been promoted to the rank of Captain by the time of his discharge.
