Telegram from Edwin D. Morgan, Governor of New York, to President Abraham Lincoln, 1861. Morgan put forth five names (though wrote that he had only sent four) as recommendations to Lincoln--James S. Wadsworth, Erasmus D. Keyes, John Ewen, John H. Martindale, and Henry W. Slocum.
