Aerial photograph, no. 4 in a sequence, taken by plane flying across lower Manhattan northwest along west side of lower Manhattan a few days after the September 11 terrorist attack upon the World Trade Center, on September 15, 2001. On this date, parts of the site were still on fire.

The square-roofed structure at center right is the Deutsche Bank Building, which was irreparably damaged on September 11, 2001 and demolished in February 2011. The footprint of 2 World Trade Center is just above it. The footprint of 1 World Trade Center is above and to the left of the footprint of 2 World Trade Center.
