Crescent Bridge girder in transit and delivery

A rig, owned by Roger Sherman Transfer Company of Albany, NY, heads a fleet of trucks transporting steel girders through a residential area toward the Crescent Bridge construction site. The bridge crosses the Mohawk River and Erie Canal in the Hamlet of Crescent, Town of Halfmoon. The image is a publicity photograph taken by the Dept. of Public Works, Bureau Public Relations (related photograph file number 7252).
