The General Thaddeus Kosciuszko memorial in the Saratoga Battlefield in Schuylerville, New York. The memorial was built in 1936. Kosciuszko was a Polish engineer who played an important part both in leading American troops during the Revolutionary War and in fighting for Polish independence later.
