Correspondence from Robert Yates regarding a tract of land, 1763

A letter from Robert Yates that accompanied a map of lands owned by Leake in what would become Pittstown. Yates describes a site on the Sankanisick Creek that was naturally well-situated for a grist or sawmill. This site is likely the location where Robert W. Leake constructed a sawmill some years later.
