Letter from Robert Leake, Sr., to Robert W. Leake regarding business, 1772

Letter of Robert Leake, Sr. lecturing his son on how he had handled money and land purchases. Referring to a letter his son had previously sent him, Leake wrote that he failed to understand why his son needed to borrow money from someone. Later, Leake also advised Robert to delegate work, out of concern for his son’s health.
