Receipt for the purchase of land in Pittstown, 1810

Receipt from the New York State Treasurer’s Office to Peter Eycleshimer for the purchase of lot no. 83 of the Pittstown Patent. The receipt is also signed by Simeon DeWitt, New York State Surveyor General. These lands were forfeited to the state by attainder of Robert Leake after the American Revolution.
