Men stand in the aisle between tables and machinery in the forming room of the Waring Hat Manufacturing Co. in Yonkers, New York. In the forming room, hats received their initial formation in the manufacturing process. The investigator found this room, as many others at the Waring Hat Manufacturing Co., to be excessively humid and lacking proper ventilation.
