Affidavits to the New York State Comptroller for Edward Schiller

Affidavit from Edward Schiller, veteran of the New York State Volunteers (D Company) during the Mexican War, as well as an additional affidavit from veteran Captain Alfred Taylor on behalf of Schiller. Both were for his application for pension monies. These affidavits were certified by Hunsdon Cary, Commissioner for the State of New York, while at his office in Shelby County, Tennessee.
