Letter from New York State Sentor Lansing’s Office to Jarvis Streeter, veteran of the New York State Volunteers (H Company) during the Mexican War, which indicated that his case would not be able to be heard by the current Legislature because their term was nearly ended. The writer advised Streeter or his representative to appear before the Finance Committee to establish his claim.
