Streeter and Kenaday requested information on the status of pensions for veterans of the First Regiment of New York Volunteers during the Mexican War, and Kenaday further enquired after the pensions of Mrs. M. Roberts, Thomas L. Decker, Thomas Russell, J. Platt, S.D. Serrine, P.M. Lawler, Nathaniel Daniels, W.J. Walker, Alvin M. Cane, and Hugh Gayner.
