Letter to the Adjutant General from J. Benjamin Chandler written on behalf of Johanna Young, widow of Mexican War veteran Charles Benjamin Young, who served in the First Regiment of New York Volunteers. Chandler requested that a pension application be sent to Johanna Young. The letter was referred to the New York State Comptroller.
