View of a trail sign giving miles to the West Canada Lakes, Cedar Lakes, Pillsbury Lake, and the Pillsbury Mountain Observation Station in the Adirondack Mountains. The trail sign is on the trail from Perkins Camp to West Canada Lake at the point where the trail leaves the highway at Perkins Camp. The upper sign only is a Conservation Commission sign, the lower one being a private sign. The sign is probably somewhere on the lower Jessup River in Arietta, Hamilton County. The photograph was originally incorrectly identified as being in Herkimer County. This image was created to record the camping and tourism activities of the New York State Conservation Commission.
