This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Champlain Canal in Whitehall. The map is split into two views. The first view shows Wood Creek, a bridge, eleven buildings and the Road to Fort Ann. The second view shows Wood Creek, two bridges that span both the canal and Wood Creek and the Road to Fort Ann. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Absalom Daley, G. Johnson and David Rice.
