This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Crooked Lake Canal in Milo. It shows two streams, ten bridges, thirty-four buildings, five unidentified roads and a large outlet that snakes along the canal forming Shepard’s Mill Pond and Lawrence’s Mill Pond. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Morris F. Shepard, A.C. Thompson, Martin Kendig and John Lawrence.
