The first view shows Lock No. 7, Nail Creek, multiple streams and an unidentified channel. The second view shows Lock No. 8 and 9, Nail Creek and a stream. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of William Owen, James Jewitt, Noah Briggs, Arnold Mason, the Estate of Norman Woodruff, Mrs. McCombe and French.
