This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in New Hartford. The map is split into two views. The first view shows Lock No. 10, a stream, a bridge, three buildings and an unidentified road. The second view shows only a long straight stretch of the canal. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Brown and Faxton, John French, John Waters and Arnold Mason.
