Chenango Canal Survey, Marshall showing Oriskany Creek, Colburn and Sanford

This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Chenango Canal in Marshall. It shows the Oriskany Creek which branches into three streams. Two of these streams flow through designed culverts that run under the canal while the third stream feeds into the canal. A bridge and an unidentified road are also drawn. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Luther B. Colburn, Joseph Henderson, Isaac Allen the 2nd and John Sanford.
