This is an ink, wash and charcoal map of a section of the Erie Canal in Elbridge. It shows the Town of Peru, an elongated basin, a bridge, sixteen buildings that line the canal and two unidentified roads. The red lines indicate courses and distances. The blue lines indicate canal right-of-way. The map also shows the properties of Widow Simson and William Kester.
