Constitution and bylaws of Sibley, Lindsay & Curr Company's Employees' Mutual Benefit Association. Founded in 1868, Sibley, Lindsay & Curr Company was the oldest and largest department store in Rochester, New York. The Employees' Mutual Benefit Association was formed in 1890 to serve as insurance for employees in case of illness, accident, or death. Healthy male employees ages eighteen to fifty could pay $1.00 to join, and dues were 25¢ per month.
