Wintertime view of a stand of eastern hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) trees on the farm of B.N. Lobdell near Northville, Fulton County, N.Y. in the Adirondack Mountains. The trees grew from wind-blown seeds. This image may have been created to record the reforestation activities of the New York State Forest, Fish, and Game Commission.
