It was posted for the 1924 Forestry Field Day at Pine Grove Farm in Delaware County. The Forestry Field Day program was initiated in 1924 to raise awareness of conservation issues among farm bureaus, sportsmen's clubs and similar organizations. This image was created to record the reforestation efforts of the New York State Conservation Commission.
