Twelve-year-old Colorado Blue Spruce (Picea pungens) and Austrian Pine (Pinus nigra nigra) flank the road approaching the Ashokan dam building. The dam entered service in 1915. This image was created to record the reforestation efforts of the New York State Conservation Commission.
