View of cars parked in front of the City of Rochester municipal forest during a reforestation tour. The trees are White Pine (Pinus strobus) and Norway Spruce (Picea abies) and were planted in 1911. The State first began to offer reforestation tours in 1924 in order to educate the public about the importance of conservation. This image was created to record the reforestation efforts of the New York State Conservation Department.
