State Police Diving Operations -- Past and Present, ca. 1960-1966

Reel is a compilation of footage taken of the NY State Police engaging in various training exercises, including scuba diving and water-to-air rescue using the N600 Helicopter seen in other footage in this collection. Among other clips included on this reel is footage of what appears to be laboratory testing of breathing apparatuses, two different ceremonies in which a plaque featuring the New York State seal and a framed New York State Police Scuba Divers emblem are presented, and a clip of New York State Police lined up outdoors in the snow. The scuba diving footage appears to be printed from footage also found on index entry 185 (also titled "State Police Diving School Past and Present").The same main and "The End" credits appear, as well as the segments "LT KE Gray First State Police Hard Hat Diver" and "Recent Schools & Details."
